Senior Planner

Since joining Planscape in 2004, Greg Corbett has provided professional planning advice to both the public and private sectors. With his extensive municipal planning experience, both at the local and regional levels, he continues to support the public sector by delivering strategic and land use planning advice to a variety of municipalities.

Mr. Corbett has extensive experience representing municipalities in a variety of settings, liaising and facilitating communication with the general public, special interest groups and numerous government representatives. Mr. Corbett has prepared and provided evidence as a qualified expert planning witness at a number of Ontario Municipal Board Hearings on behalf of public and private sector clients. These hearings have dealt with a diversity of matters from minor variances to comprehensive zoning by-laws.

In addition to his municipal work, Mr. Corbett is involved in a full range of planning activities in the private sector, processing all types of development applications from minor variances to subdivisions and major commercial developments.

Greg Corbett completed a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University and an Honours B.A. in Geography and Environmental Studies from Brock University. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI).
